This is the first edition of this fascinating reference book by Robert T. Augustyn and Paul E. Cohen that focuses on the history of Manhattan on maps from its earliest appearance on the lost Maggiolo Map from the early sixteenth century to more modern satellite views. The book is well illustrated, with many plates shown in full color. 164 pages. Hardbound in burnt orange cloth with an illustrated dust jacket.
