Humphreys with new text by R. A. Skelton. Mr. Skelton was the Superintendent of the Map Room at the British Museum when he published this work. 84 images in color and black & white, 80 text pages. Hardbound in blue cloth, titled in gilt on spine, with an illustrated dust jacket. Condition: Text is dog-eared in the top right corner, where the book has been bumped. There is light toning on the pastedown. Dust jacket is lightly soiled with light wear along the edges and a few short tears along the spine. (B)

B. Maps and Prints for Pleasure and Investment, by Douglas C. Gohm, published 1969 (5.8 x 8.8"). This informative book provides an excellent survey of the world of map and print collecting for both new and experienced collectors. It is illustrated with 24 color plates and another 78 in B&W. It features a helpful glossary. 190 pages, plus an index. Hardbound in brown cloth with an illustrated dust jacket. Condition: Contents are tight with a hint of foxing along the top edge. Covers are faintly stained, and the dust jacket has minor wear and a touch of label residue. (B+)
