This detailed tourist map of Macau is intended to encourage Europeans to travel to this "Gem of the Orient Earth."  The map identifies main roads, important buildings, and note-worthy sites, which are numbered and listed in the adjacent "itinerary."  The waters are filled with junk boats and several more modern ships, and the map is surrounded by photos of 36 sites.  On verso there is a brief history of the European influences in Macau, a detailed walking guide that corresponds with the map itinerary, and information on the industries and commerce of Macau.  Printed and lithographed by Hongkong Printing Press, Ltd.  Full sheet measures 24.3 x 18.8".
