This is a handsome map of the Holy Land on both sides of the Jordan River and divided into the twelve tribes of Israel.  At left is a large decorative title cartouche featuring a rabbi and a cherub playing a harp, and at right is a text description of the region with five distance scales.

A crisp impression with contemporary outline color in the map and later color in the cartouche, on a watermarked sheet with minor toning along the centerfold and a few spots of foxing.
