This fully engraved map of northwestern Italy is bounded by Geneva in the north (depicted along the top border of the map), Grenoble in the west, the Gulf of Genoa in the south, and Milan and Lake Como in the east. There is great detail of towns, roads, political boundaries, rivers, and mountains. The decorative title cartouche features Athena, goddess of war and wisdom, and two royal figures.

Full contemporary color on a clean watermarked sheet. There is an 8" archivally repaired centerfold separation at bottom and a tiny repaired chip at the top of the centerfold with minor loss of border.
