This is a slightly enlarged version of Gastaldi's modern map of the Iberian peninsula. It names several towns and cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, Lisbon, and Porto. The map is engraved in the Italian style with stippled seas, which also include a sailing ship and menacing sea monster. Italian text on verso.

A dark impression with some minor dampstaining confined to the bottom blank margin and a small worm track in the upper left blank margin.
