This fine copper-engraved map is in the Italian style with fully stippled seas. Ir depicts the Netherlands with the islands of Zeeland, and part of Flanders to the south. Cities are illustrated with miniature castles and include Rotterdam, Breda, Antwerp, Ghent, and Brussels. Tge map is adorned with a strapwork title cartouche and a compass rose. Engraved by Girolamo Porro and printed on a sheet of Italian text measuring 7.5 x 11.1".
