This impressive map of Latvia and Estonia features place names, political divisions, and topographical detail. Lakes Peipus and Plescovicus (Pskovskoe) are prominently depicted in the east. Among the many towns and cities identified are Memel (Klaipeda), Liba (Liepaja), Riga, Pernow (Parnu), Revel (Tallinn), Derpt (Tartu), Pleskow (Pskov), and Duneburg (Daugavpils). Curiously, the major islands of the West Estonian archipelago are omitted. The ornate title cartouche at top left incorporates putti, coats of arms, and distance scales.

A nice impression on a sheet with full contemporary color and a printer's crease parallel to the lower centerfold. There is light foxing and soiling, and a small abrasion in the border at left. The bottom left corner and left margin have been backed with old paper, and an edge tear at top has been repaired with old paper on verso as well.
