This is a handsome and uncommon map of Estonia and Latvia with charming pictorial representations of forests and cities. It names Riga and extends well into the Gulf of Riga with the islands of Oesel (Saaramaa) and Dagho (Hiiumaa) off the coast of Estonia. The title is enclosed in a delightfully ornate cartouche at bottom left. Published by Pierre Mariette at Rue St. Jacques a l'Esperance.

A crisp impression on a sheet with an elaborate coat of arms watermark. There is light toning along the centerfold and tape stains in the margins, with one that enters the border at bottom.
