This pictorial map of the world was issued by Belgian chocolatier Cote d'Or. Countries are outlined and labeled and the map is densely filled with tiny vignettes showing wildlife, natural resources, agriculture, industry, and points of interest for nearly every country in the world. The seas are richly embellished with numerous ships, aquatic life, and a scene of Neptune in the southern sea. Adorned with a scroll-like title cartouche and a large compass rose. Drawn by Jacques de Duve and published by Les Editions de Visscher in Brussels.

Bold color, issued folding and now flattened and fully backed in archival tissue to repair a few short fold separations and tiny holes at fold intersections. There is light wear along the folds, minor soiling, and a couple of creases near the compass rose that have been pressed flat.
