This magnificent view was included in Casimiro Castro's Album del Ferro-Carril Mexicano, which was published to commemorate the opening of the Mexican Railway from Mexico City to Vera Cruz.  The view depicts a train crossing a bridge with the city of Huamantla in the background.  Several armed men stand atop the train.  The view was painted from nature by Casimiro Castro and executed in chromolithography by A. Sigogne.
