A fine map of the state with 67 counties and excellent detail throughout. Early railroads are shown connecting Knoxville to Asheville, North Carolina as well as from Memphis to La Grange. Not to be confused with the maps from the Comprehensive Atlas, this map is several inches larger and carries much more information. Engraved by G.W. Boynton.

Full contemporary color on a sturdy sheet with minor foxing in the margins. There are binding holes in the bottom margin.
