This early automobile highway map was produced by the American Automobile Association (AAA) and “issued for Free Distribution by The Newark Sunday Call.” The map shows scant road development in most of New Jersey except near Philadelphia and New York City. Accompanying text outlines 17 tours with detailed driving instructions. Text indicates that this is the tenth edition, but the earliest edition noted in OCLC is 1918. 28 pages. Red paper wrappers (5.0 x 9.0") feature a highly decorative art nouveau illustration.

The folding map is trimmed to the border at bottom and has some faint staining at left where it was glued to the rear cover. Text is lightly toned and covers have minor wear.
