This Colton pocket map was published for Hoyt, Fogg & Donham of Portland, Maine. The map individually colors each township and locates roads, towns and villages, rivers, railroads and topography. Printed on fine banknote quality paper, the map is surrounded with Colton's trademark strapwork border. Folds into its original brown blind-stamped boards with gilt title "Map of Maine. Railroad & Stage Directory. 1880."
