This small guidebook published by the National Automobile Club is filled with information on automobile touring in California. There are a total of 62 maps including: an index map of the state; 25 detailed single-page maps covering the entire state with parts of Oregon and Nevada; 27 single-page maps of the “main trunk highways”; and 9 double-page folding diagrams including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe with text on verso highlighting points of interest and history. Text includes a 26-page mileage table, Instructions to Members, and Official Service Units. First edition of a short-lived publication that began in 1925 after the Club’s establishment in 1924. Loose leaf binder with faux leather covers and gilt-stamped logo of the Club on the front cover.
