These great minds collaborated in the goal of assembling and disseminating the fruits of accumulated knowledge and learning. Handsome pair of copper engravings, each containing over 40 marine flags. Included are flags of Poland (Fig 840), Venice (Fig. 852), Brandenburg (Fig. 862), Sardinia (Fig. 867), and Corsica (Fig. 876), among others. Engraved by Benard.
