This elaborate engraving depicts the opulent palace of the Grand Mogul. The busy scene features fighting elephants, a procession, and a religious ceremony at the mosque. Published in the fifth volume of Atlas Historique.

Condition: B+

A crisp impression on a watermarked sheet with some faint staining along the centerfold that is barely visible in the image. A short centerfold separation in the right blank margin has been closed on verso with archival tape.
