This handsome and detailed map of Switzerland is colored to show the regions of various religious enclaves. A large, decorative title cartouche features the coats of arms of the cantons. Below the cartouche and in the lower left corner are vignettes of farm and village life.

Full contemporary color with moderate soiling and a centerfold separation that enters 5.5" into image at bottom and has been archivally repaired on verso. There are some dampstains along the edges of the sheet and a worm track in the top margin that has been repaired.
