Great map of the whole of Switzerland based on the cartography of Gerard Mercator. Graphically depicting the mountainous region and densely engraved with information including even the tiniest villages. Embellished with a strapwork title cartouche and two scale of miles cartouches, one of which includes a vignette of two gentlemen. Spanish text on verso, published between 1659-72.

A dark impression with full contemporary color on a sheet with a large watermark of Atlas, light toning along the centerfold, and archivally repaired worm tracks on the far sides of the sheet.
