This splendidly decorative map covers the Meuse River valley, including Namur and Liege, with north oriented at left of map. It is exquisitely engraved with an elaborate strapwork title cartouche and scale of miles. Italian text on verso, published in 1608 or 1612.

A sharp impression on a sheet with the horn coat of arms watermark commonly found on Ortelius maps. There are a few small spots and tiny wormholes in the map image, and a narrow tape stain enters map border at top right. The margins have been trimmed close to neatline at left and right, and there are a few small chips in the top margin.
