This sumptuously designed map of Scotland is credited to "Sir Iain Moncreiffe of That Ilk, Bart., Ph.D., Albany Herald. - And Don Pottinger, M.A., D.A., Unicorn Pursuivant of Arms." It depicts Scotland divided into its "general spheres of influence" around the era of James VI. The map is surrounded by the arms and crests of the chiefs of the various clans. "The Arms of the Realm and Ancient Local Principalities of Scotland" appear at top, with the royal arms of the United Kingdom and Lord Lyon King of Arms in the upper corners. On verso is a list of families with clan and tartan. Self-folding into pictorial cardstock wrappers (6.0 x 10.0") with an alternate title: Bartholomews Clan Map - 'Scotland of Old.'
