This is the scarce Italian version of this map, which covers all of Nova Scotia including Cape Breton with Prince Edward Island (Isola S. Giovanni) shown in good detail. The Micmac tribe is located near Shelburne. The southeastern part of Nova Scotia is named Acadia. South of Nova Scotia numerous banks are noted, where "la Pescaggione e ottima" (the fish are very good). A decorative rococo-style cartouche fills the lower right corner of the map.

A crisp impression, issued folding on a sheet with the watermark of three crescent moons. There is a bit of marginal soiling and a binding trim in the left margin, well away from the map. The right and bottom edge of the sheet are deckle edged.
