This scarce map depicts the King's Park area of the Kowloon Peninsula on the northern side of Victoria Harbor. It shows the street-grid pattern in the vicinity, the Kowloon Canton Railway, and the Radio Hong Kong transmission station. Points of interest are noted throughout including the Yaumati typhoon shelter, Whitfield Barracks, Whiteaways department store, YMCA, theaters, hotels, and more. Various watercraft, including two junks, appear in the waters. Hung Hom Bay, shown along the southern edge of the peninsula, was reclaimed for development beginning in 1994 and was completely extinguished by 2019. Issued by Orient Publishing Company.
