An outstanding map of the regions surrounding the Black Sea that is beautifully engraved to show topography, roads, and cities. Features a large inset of the Bosphorus with the city of Constantinople in at top right. A drape-style title cartouche is held aloft by putti.

References:

Condition: A

A crisp impression on a bright sheet with an Elias Kutter watermark, with full contemporary color in the map and later color in the cartouche. There is a bit of printer's ink residue at center, a printer's crease at bottom right, and a few minor spots, mostly confined to the blank margins.
