This handsome and detailed map of Switzerland is colored to show the regions of various religious enclaves. A large, decorative title cartouche features the coats of arms of the cantons. Below the cartouche and in the lower left corner are vignettes of farm and village life.

Condition: B+

Contemporary color in the map with later color in the cartouche and vignettes. There is light soiling, minor toning along the centerfold, and a centerfold separation and adjacent short tear near the center of the image that have been archivally repaired.
