This decorative and detailed map focuses on southeastern Germany, extending a bit into Austria. It is centered approximately on Landshut, extending to include the cities of Munich, Passau, Augsburg, Salzburg, and Nuremberg. Large cities are depicted as miniature fortified plans, and the map is filled with hundreds of tiny towns. The beautiful title cartouche features a river god, lion heads, and putti supporting a royal coat of arms.
