This colorful promotional map issued in English by the French Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Tourism promotes the Alpine region of southeastern France. The map extends from Marseille and Cannes north to Lac Leman with the mountainous region colored in ice blue and the highest elevations in white. A legend at top left further identifies roads, spas, aerial railways, winter sports, "natural curiosities" and much more. Surrounded by a decorative border. The verso features 8 driving routes in the region (4 each for summer and winter) and illustrations of "old Alpine costumes." Folds into pictorial wrappers promoting Air France.
