Decorative map of northeastern France with Nancy at center and surrounded by hundreds of tiny villages. Several cities, including Nancy, Metz, and Toul are shown as fortified cities. North is oriented to the left. The title cartouche is embellished with a vineyard, figures and a coat of arms. A strapwork cartouche encloses the distance scales. Latin text on verso, published between 1646-57.
