This map is centered on Paris with minute detail of the vicinity. It is richly embellished with the royal arms, vignette of a surveyor with two putti, strapwork distance scale cartouche, and a great title cartouche flanked by a gentleman and gentlewoman and topped by a pair of angels supporting the coat of arms. German text on verso, published between 1641-49.
References: Van der Krogt (Vol. II) #4300:2B.
Condition: A
A nice impression with full contemporary color and a bit of marginal soiling. On verso there are small remnants of hinge tape and residue from non-archival tape along the edges of the map, well away from the image.
