This decorative and detailed bird's-eye plan of London extends from Lambeth to Ratcliff. Important buildings and streets are named. The map features three decorative cartouches. The title cartouche includes the mythological figures of Victory, Apollo and Athena. At left is the arms of the city, and at right is a dedication to Sir George Thorold, Lord Mayor of London.
