Two little maps on a folio sheet of Latin text. The first map is a complete hemisphere on a north polar projection, but only part of the landmasses are engraved. Despite being attributed to Ptolemy, parts of the Americas are depicted. The second map is based on the work of Arzahelis and Gemma Frisius and depicts the Eastern Hemisphere with a huge southern continent labeled Terra Incognita. Each map measures 4.4 x 4.2". On a sheet of Latin text measuring 11.3 x 17.4".
