This extensive textual history, profusely illustrated, covers early explorations across the Atlantic to 1633. It is an important reference for any library. 304 pages with 370 plates, 75 in color. Hardbound in black cloth with gilt titles and an illustrated dust jacket. This is the British edition with a different dust jacket, published by Elek Books Limited in London.
