An early map of Switzerland with north oriented at the bottom of the chart. The map was based on the work of Aegidius Tschudi, a historian of the Swiss Confederation. The title is engraved onto the top of an unusual three dimensional title box. German text on verso.

Condition: B+

Full contemporary color on a sturdy sheet with the watermark of a small coat of arms with the letter "B." There is light soiling and a short centerfold separation at bottom that has been repaired with old paper on recto.
