A. Lake Tahoe California - Nevada, by Gerald A. Eddy, dated 1965 (22.8 x 17.0"). This attractive and detailed bird's-eye view depicts the Lake Tahoe region, extending to Truckee, Reno, Virginia City and Carson City. The rugged topography of the region is presented with a three-dimensional quality and locates numerous ski areas, golf courses, casinos, mountain peaks, and the road network to access these recreational features. Text at bottom calls the region an "All-Year Playland." Blank verso. Condition: A colorful example with some light vertical creasing. (B+)

B. Sierra County California "The Playground of the Sierra," by Phil Newberg, dated 1946 (13.6 x 9.9"). This pictorial map, printed in blue & orange ink, presents the recreational opportunities in Sierra County, which is situated just to the north of Lake Tahoe. Playful illustrations in the map include fishing, skiing, hunting, horseback riding and more. The map is surrounded by related text and illustrations that continue on verso, which also includes 8 illustrations of the "Gold Rush Days of '49." Condition: Clean and colorful. Issued folding. (A)
