This uncommon and highly detailed map of the entire state shows towns, counties, township surveys, mining information, roads and railroads. Balancing this wealth of information is a series of vignettes occupying the top third of the sheet featuring orchards, vineyards, and a lovely waterfall - all meant to convey the vast natural resources and agricultural opportunities in California. Lithographed by H. S. Crocker Company in San Francisco. The map was published in "Resources of California," a publication issued by the state of California.
