This is the scarce Italian edition of this excellent view by Bellin that first appeared in Histoire Generale des Voyages (circa 1754). It shows the sprawling city in the mid-eighteenth century with locals bustling in the foreground. The title appears in banner-style cartouche that floats over the scene. Engraved by Violante Vanni.
