This expansive map of the Russian Empire extends to show China, Corea, and Japan and delineates the Great Wall. A scroll-like inset at lower left lists 24 Russian regions and is keyed to the map. Adorned by a decorative title cartouche on a plinth that features a three-masted ship. A second French title appears along the top border.

A crisp impression on watermarked paper with contemporary color. There is a crease running along the centerfold and some minor staining along the upper centerfold from the adhesive used to attach the backstrap.
