This striking map focuses on Denmark, but extends from the German coastline north to include part of the Norwegian coastline and the southern part of Sweden, including Stockholm. The map is based upon Cornelis Anthoniszoon's Caerte van Oostand, and maps by Sgrothen, Olaus and Jordanus. A decorative title cartouche and large sailing ship complete the composition. Latin text on verso.

A dark impression with full contemporary color on a sheet with an eagle watermark, light toning, a couple of tiny holes along the centerfold, and an old paper repair along the centerfold at bottom on recto, covering up a small amount of the border. There is marginal soiling and a dampstain in the top margin. The green pigment has browned, but the paper is still supple.
