This is a detailed map of the region, including Luxembourg and bordering parts of France and Germany. Wonderful, figural title cartouche with recumbent male and female figures at top, a lion at bottom, and a banner-style scale of miles.

Condition: A

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color in the map and later color in the cartouches, on a bright sheet with a Society of Jesus watermark. There is an archivally repaired centerfold separation at bottom, a repaired tear that just crosses the neatline at top, and light toning along the edges of the sheet.
