It features a helpful glossary. 190 pages, plus an index. Hardbound in brown cloth with an illustrated dust jacket. Condition: Contents are very good with a hint of light foxing along the edges of the text. Dust jacket is lightly sunned with minor wear along the edges. (B+)

This fine overview of antique maps features brief biographies of major cartographers. It covers a very wide selections of maps from the 15th to the 19th centuries. 128 pp., nearly 170 illustrations, 65 in full color. Hardbound in rust cloth with gold title and decoration on cover and an illustrated dust jacket. Condition: Contents are near fine, with a touch of toning along the edges and a short tear on the pastedown. Dust jacket is lightly soiled and toned along its top edge. (A)
