A beautiful map of the Burgundy area, known for its production of wine, fully engraved with mountains, forests, towns, and fortified cities. The map extends to Geneva and includes a legend and distance scales at bottom. The large, decorative title cartouche features a Queen supporting the royal coat of arms of France, putti engaged in wine-making, and a river god spilling a vessel of water to symbolize the rivers of the region.
