This delightful miniature map of Sicily is adorned with a decorative title cartouche, compass rose, and three tiny sea monsters. The small islands surrounding Sicily are shown, as well as the southern tip of Italy. Mount Etna is depicted erupting. Engraved by Girolamo Porro and printed on a full sheet (7.8 x 11.8") of Italian text.
