This handsome copper engraving shows an armillary sphere surrounded by diagrams of its various parts. French text panels flank the diagrams at left and right.

Full contemporary color on a bluish sheet with a bunch of grapes watermark, marginal soiling, and light toning along the edges of the sheet.
