Fine small map of the region north of the Black Sea encompassing the Crimea and the southern steppes of Ukraine. The map is based on ancient sources updated with regional names from the Middle Ages, including Podolia, Lithuaniae Pars, Russiae Pars, Crimea seu Tartaria Przecopensis, and Taurica Chirsonesus. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B+

A nice impression with remnants of hinge tape along the top edge of the sheet on recto and verso. There is a worm track at bottom right that has been repaired with old paper, with minor loss of image.
