This densely engraved map focuses on the region surrounding Nurnberg, which is depicted as a miniature bird's-eye plan. The map is filled with towns, roads, mountains, and forests, with symbols identified in a legend at bottom right. The allegorical title cartouche features Minerva, Diana and a river god.

A dark impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with minor printer's ink residue. There is a minor tear at bottom and a short centerfold separation also at bottom that have been closed on verso with archival tape.
