This fine map covers northwestern England and northern Wales with the Isle of Man. It is beautifully engraved with a moiré patterned sea, elegant calligraphy, a fierce sea monster, and a large strapwork title cartouche. Latin text on verso, published between 1607-12.

A crisp impression with a centerfold separation at bottom that enters 1.5" into map image and has been closed on verso with hinge tape. There is light toning and a dampstain in the blank margins and remnants of hinge tape on verso.
