This detailed folio covers the region around Van Horn in West Texas, and was part of the Geological Survey's project to make a complete geological atlas of the United States. It features two single-page maps, topography and areal geology, extending from Van Horn north to Sierra Diablo. Includes an introductory 9-page "Description of the Van Horn Quadrangle" by G.B. Richardson, geological sections, and photographic illustrations. Produced under the direction of George Otis Smith. Elephant folio.
