This detailed folio covers the region around Van Horn in West Texas, and was part of the Geological Survey's project to make a complete geological atlas of the United States. It features two single-page maps, topography and areal geology, extending from Van Horn north to Sierra Diablo. Includes an introductory 9-page "Description of the Van Horn Quadrangle" by G.B. Richardson, geological sections, and photographic illustrations. Produced under the direction of George Otis Smith. Elephant folio.
Condition code is for the contents, which are Internally clean and bright. The covers have some minor soiling and light toning along the edges.
