An attractive small map of the continent presenting an independent Republic of Texas in its smaller configuration with San Felipe de Austin as its capital. In the Pacific Northwest, U.S. claims extend well into present-day British Columbia, and Mexico is in control of the Southwest. Alaska is Amerique Russe. Drawn by A.R. Fremin and engraved by Dyonnet.
