A fine title page in the classic architectural style of the Renaissance that was published in the Spain and Continents section of Blaeu's work. Two pillars capped by pediments supporting the multiple-quartered coat of arms of Spain flank the title. At sides are the allegorical female representations of the four continents. The Latin motto at top translates as "one world is not big enough." It was common practice for the decorative engraving to be printed without the atlas title, which was adhered at the time of publication - in this case, the title and publisher's imprint are blank. Published between 1640-72.
