A. Maps and Map-Makers, by R.V. Tooley, published 1961 (7.8 x 10.0"). This is the the third impression of the 2nd edition of this standard work for any collector's library. It provides information on the principal map makers and publishers throughout the history of cartography. Published by Bonanza Books. 140 pages with 104 illustrations, with some in color. Hardbound in blue cloth with gilt titles on spine and a dust jacket. Condition: Contents are good with minor toning and light to moderate foxing on some of the pages. There are tape stains on the endpapers. Corners are slightly bumped with minor chipping at the top and bottom of the spine. Dust jacket is price clipped, soiled, and toned. (B)

B. Decorative Printed Maps of the 15th to 18th Centuries, by R.A. Skelton, published 1965 (8.9 x 11.3"). This is the revised edition of Old Decorative Maps and Charts by A.L. Humphreys with new text by R. A. Skelton. Mr. Skelton was the Superintendent of the Map Room at the British Museum when he published this work. 84 images in color and black & white, 80 text pages. Hardbound in blue cloth, titled in gilt on spine, with an illustrated dust jacket. Condition: Text is very good with light toning on the endpapers. Covers have minor wear along the edges, and the dust jacket is faintly foxed with light soiling and wear along its edges. (B+)
